Laurence offers an “à la carte” service: every piece can be tailor-made or redesigned according to your personality.

Laurence Vandenborre Fine Jewelry is more than a brand name, it is the reflection of a person, and the celebration of life’s most precious moments, which we are honored to share with you.

Every piece of jewelry tells a unique story. That’s why we offer a bespoke, à la carte experience: together with Laurence, you select the shape and color of your gemstone(s), as well as the shade of gold. Laurence then creates a detailed 3D design before bringing your vision to life. Within a few weeks, you receive your personalized jewel – handcrafted with care in her Antwerp atelier.

Roadmap

  1. Get in touch

    At a first stage, discuss together with Laurence the type of jewel and design you are dreaming about. All the aspects will be carefully studied: practicability, style, 
type of stones, budget.

  2. Choose your favourite treasure

    Based on the discussion, Laurence will come back to you with a selection of stones (diamonds and/or colored stones) in order for you to choose your crush.

  3. We are on it!

    Laurence and her team of goldsmiths will start to draw a 3D of the jewel and will send you a first draft in a few days. When approved, it is time to start to craft your shining piece.

  4. D-day has arrived

    In about 15-25 working days, you receive your bespoke piece of jewelry.

REDESIGN

Let the story of your jewel continue to shine.

The symbolism of a jewelry piece that can pass from one generation to another has inestimable sentimental value.

Many customers sometimes leave real treasures sleeping in their drawers which could be redesigned to give them a second life. This is also about approaching jewelry ethically since we recycle gold and repolish existing stones. Laurence particularly appreciates the exchange with the customer who takes an active part in the jewelry redesigning project.

Roadmap

  1. Valuation
    We accept jewels which contain a central stone of a certain size (we don’t accept pieces which contain only small stones). We give you then a valuation of your jewel. Depending on the complexity of the analysis, a fee from 50Є can be applied (deductible from the new jewel ordered).

  2. Repolishing

    If your central stone(s) can be recycled in the new jewel but is/are damaged, we will give you a quote for a polishing service (from 100Є).

  3. Gold Weight

    We give you an estimation of the gold weight of your existing jewel which will be recycled (quote based on the current gold price and other parameters).

  4. New Design


    A detailed quote will be provided for the creation of your bespoke piece. The estimated value of the recycled gold will be credited toward the final cost of the new design.
