Topaz

Topaz is one of the precious stones with an exceptionally wide color range. It can be brown, all tones of blue, green, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple or even colorless.

The topaz can be found all around the globe: Australia, Brazil, Madagascar, Mexico, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the US.

Fun fact: Depending on the color, topaz has some special trade names. There is the imperial topaz. Its color is reddish orange and this is the most expensive color. And there is the sherry topaz. Its color is yellowish brown to orange and thanks its name to the color of sherry wine.
