Gemstones

The first chapter in the fabulous journey of your unique, handmade and refined jewelry starts with the selection of precious stones.

Gemstones, and particularly colored stones, have attracted humans since ancient times, and have long been used mainly for jewelry. Kings and Queens from many civilizations and countries have started to wear jewelry as a symbol of wealth and power.

The prime parameter for a gem is that it must be beautiful. The beauty of a gem may lie in its colour composed of different intensities and overtones. To be suitable for jewelry, a gem must also be durable: it must withstand the wear and tear of constant handling.
